1. My muse and the woman design for is Ruth. She’s a professional woman who lives in Holland and is very fashionable with a particular love for accessories. We met in 1999 in NYC and we’ve been traveling buddies ever since.  We’ve traveled all over the world together to places like London, Rome, Las Vegas, Zurich, Vermont, and Paris to name a few.


2. The designer that intrigues me is Alber Behnaz. He’s ingenious with lots of wit within a serious couture line.


3. In my own closet I gravitate towards navy cashmere turtlenecks, jeans and boots.


4. The best person I’ve dressed is, of course, Heidi Klum since she liked my work on Project Runway and the client I dress most often is Susan Safidi, a lawyer and law professor who looks fabulous in everything. She has always supported me since I opened my boutique doors.


5. This week my guilty pleasure has been watching every season of Dexter on DVD. I called into work sick for two days and didn’t leave the house. Just back-to-back-to-back Dexter.


6. Right now I am so into shopping for ornate vintage details on shoes, handbags and collars of dresses.


7. My biggest fashion faux pas was agreeing to wear the pink flamingo ice skating outfit and a straw hat on Project Runway.
